What is a Chakra?
Chakras, by definition, are energy centers within the human body that help to regulate all its processes, from organ function to to the immune system and emotions. Seven chakras are positioned throughout your body, from the base of your spine to the crown of your head. Each chakra has its own vibrational frequency, color, and governs specific functions that help make you human.
The Crown Chakra gives us access to higher states of consciousness as we open to what is beyond our personal preoccupations and visions.
The Third Eye Chakra is the center of intuition and foresight which is driven by the principle of openness and imagination.
The Throat Chakra is the passage of the energy between the lower parts of the body and the head. The function of which is driven by the principle of expression and communication.
The Heart Chakra colors our life with compassion, love, and beauty. Driven by the principles of transformation and integration it is said to bridge earthly and spiritual aspirations.
The Solar Plexus chakra. Characterized by the expression of will, personal power, and mental abilities
The Sacral Chakra is is associated with the emotional body, sensuality, and creativity. Its element is water and as such, its energy is characterized by flow and flexibility.
The Root Chakras energy is based on the earth element. It’s associated with the feeling of safety and grounding. It’s at the base of the chakra system and lays the foundation for the rest.
